Multiple TTX codes in an order

PAGE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Sometimes it is necessary to have multiple Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX) in an order to differentiate a carry out sale from a ship sale or to be able to map sales appropriately to the GL .  For example, when a customer purchases items to ship and items to carry out, the transactions need to be differentiated so the system does not ship out the carry out wine or merchandise when the order is extracted in Order Management (PSORM.ORM).  Another example, If a customer signs up for a club membership and purchases the club shipment in the tasting room along with other non club wines, those transactions may need to be mapped differently to the GL

Example 1:  Ship sale and carry out sale combined in one order

It doesn't matter what order the clerk enters the transactions, carry out sale can be added first or last.  To enter the carry out sale first, log in to Cash Register (TCH) with a clerk code and password.  Assuming that the default transaction code for the register is a carry out sales, just enter the items the customer wishes to carry out.

When all carry out items are entered, choose the Ship Sale button, refer to Ship Sale Order Entry if necessary.  When you choose Ship Sale the first thing that needs to happen to move forward with adding the shipping information, is to change the Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX).

After the Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX) is entered, add the shipping information, then when taken back to the main screen add the product under the Ship To line.

If the customer decides to add another item to carry out, the clerk will need to touch or click above the Ship To line to get back to the Carry out Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX).  The screen displays a message "Touch here to add a carry out item".  Or if the clerk adds a product to the Ship To line and the customer decides to carry that item out instead, highlight the product and the clerk will now have the item to move the line item.  Select the Move Line Item and touch or click above the Ship To Line.

Example 2:  Using multiple transaction codes in a Ship To transaction

Choose Ship Sale and choose the appropriate Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX), add the ship to information and add the products to the Ship To line.

Now, if a different transaction code is used for a club shipment, it will be necessary to use the appropriate club shipment Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX).  To do this, select Ship Sale and choose the appropriate transaction code, when the transaction code is selected the system will prompt the clerk for additional information.

If yes is chosen, a new Ship To line will be added.  In this case, that is not necessary, the only thing needed is to change the Tasting Room Transaction Code (TTX), select No.  Now underneath the product that was already added under the ship to line, the clerk will see the description of the new transaction code.  The transaction type will also be on the order header.

Add the bottles for the club shipment and finalize the order or repeat the steps above and add another transaction code.
