Wine club members may occasionally wish to be charged for their shipment but may not be home for the intended day of delivery, based on projected ship date for the wine club batch. In those cases you will want to postpone a wine club members shipment by using the hold shipment until day feature. This will override the projected ship date on their club order from the club runs projected ship date, to the specific date reflected in their customer record.
To postpone a wine club shipment, you will search for the customer by last name in the main CRM screen. Key the customers last name into the last name field and then hit enter.
If you need to narrow the results you can use first name in combination with last name to search for your customer.
Double click on the customer name you wish to access or select the line and hit the select current line button(F1).
Choose the Maintain Wine Clubs button at the bottom of the screen or hit M on your keyboard.
There are hot keys built into the system, shown by the underlined capitalized letter on each button option.
In the wine club status details section fill in the date range for which you would like to override a wine club members club order ship dates. This would be used when a wine club member would like to receive their shipment but will not be home on the exact day the club order would be delivered. This option allows for the order to be charged and the projected ship date on that members order to be overridden from the batch projected ship date to the date specified in the HOLD SHIPMENT UNTIL field.
