Ingenico iSMP4: "This Lane Closed"

When the iSMP4 cannot connect to the server it will display the message "This Lane Closed" as shown below.

Common causes are problems on the device, problems with your Wifi network, or problems with the Shift 4 software on the AMS Server.

To troubleshoot, try the following:

1. Reboot the iSMP4 by holding down the power button for four seconds, or, alternatively, remove the battery.  The power button is the topmost button on the right hand side of the device.  See pictures below.
2. Use another wifi device to ensure your local Wifi network is working and you have internet access.
3. Call AMS to check the server-side software and assist further.
