FedEx does require a test and certification.  Since we are just testing, you can get access to the test system by requesting a test key.     Once you want to go to production, you will need to request a production key.  Fill out a form, and they may want you to test creating a label so they can verify “we” are doing it correctly.  But for now, the test key should be all we need.

  1. Choose Develop and Test
  2. Choose Get Test Key
  3. The next page will have your Test Key, account number, and meter number

Once testing is complete you will need a "production key".  Previously customers registered as a corporate developer during this process.  In additionAlso, you send an email to websupport@fedex.com that explains that you needed to activate the label creation portion of the production key.  They then send a survey that needs to be completed.  I believe they also eventually ask for a label example.

Map Order Levels Of Service

WHAT, WHY

Central Table OLS defines the configured “Order Level of Service codes” on your system.  Those that apply to FedEx or UPS need to be mapped to the carrier level of service used by the API.  That is, you would map your AMS OLS code for FexEx 2-day to the FedEx API service code for 2-day(FX2)
