Introduction

MAX Table Entries for Sales

Customer Financial Code (CFC)

Fill in the customer financial code that you wish to map to the GL

Part Financial Code (PFC)

Fill in the customer financial code that you wish to map to the GL in combination with the previously listed Customer Financial Code.

Note: For each customer financial code/part financial code combination that you will use in transactions a mapping needs to be done to point the dollars to general ledger accounts. If a transaction has a CFC/PFC combination that is not mapped when you post your journal you will receive an error message.

Select enter to open the G/L account field.

Note: You can also use the copy from feature to copy mappings from one CFC/PFC combination to another combination. This saves time on the initial setup.

For each entry code (ETP) fill in the GL account that it should post to.

Note: You do not have to have every account filled in. If you do not and a transaction is posted that has an unmapped CFC/PFC combo the system will let you know with an error when your journal is posted.

Select Enter to save and continue on to the next CFC/PFC combo or use the copy feature.

Customer Financial Code (CFC)

Fill in the customer financial code that you wish to map to the GL

Part Financial Code (PFC)

Fill in the customer financial code that you wish to map to the GL in combination with the previously listed Customer Financial Code

For No charge transactions, you would not need ETP codes with 1’s or 2’s as the second digit as there is no revenue and no discounts.

Fill in the General Ledger accounts that you would like Cost of Sales for each no charge type to post to. The example is set up for Donations, Free Goods, Pours, and Samples.

Hit Enter to Save and Continue.

NOTE: You will need to map for each entry code set and for each customer/part financial code combination needed within the entry code set. If you post at the end of the month and see errors in your journals they should tell you exactly what is not mapped for you to be able to map it.
